When Harry Met Sally

This time I decided to play with a completely neutral menswear look…down to my model (Sarah Zickel) in absolutely no makeup whatsoever. The only pops of obvious color are from the leopard-print brogues and the cute & coy bowtie, but look again and youll see a light double wrapped watch and a small scarf in the jacket pocket with a printed paisley. The natural setting only adds to the camouflage concept of staying girly in menswear!

First of all, no thats not me. Thats my great friend Sarah Zickel. My camera is STILL broken, which makes taking pictures of my outfits on my own slightly difficult. What I wore to the America's Next Top Model cycle 18 open casting call today! Wanted to "keep it real" as one might say. This is probably my favorite printed shirt I own, so hopefully it was a good luck charm :)

Last Day of Spring

I wore this jumper to my best friends high school graduation a couple weeks ago…and its been one of my favorite pieces ever since! Forever 21 does a great job of making pieces in trendy styles (ruffles + floral) but totally affordable ($25.50)!! Today I figured it was the perfect outfit for the last day of Spring….after which I will no longer want to wear long pants of any kind!! :)

Saw this green H&M dress while back home visiting my favorite shopping place: Haight St in San Francisco! Instantly this outfit popped into my head, and with the number of great summer concerts coming up, all I’m missing is a freshly made daisy chain :)

Barefoot

It being such a gorgeous day here in San Diego, I decided to explore the old Presidio buildings. The place was practically deserted - great for perusing undisturbed. A comfy lace tee and light knits were perfect for the lightly breezy spring weather!
